The Disto S910 Laser measurer uses P2P Technology to measure distances between two points, angles and inclinations at the same time from one location. The integrated Smart Base provides both horizontal and vertical angles enabling even the most complex measurement task to be quickly, accurately, and safely carried out.

	Measure from point to point with P2P Technology: The integrated Smart Base enables to measure distances (e.g. widths and tie distances) between any two points, angles and inclinations at the same time from one location. Thus, you’ll never have to reach for inaccessible areas again, enabling even the most complex measurement task to be quickly, accurately, and safely carried out.
	Capture measurement data in CAD format: The Leica DISTO S910 can save all the measured points into a DXF file as a floor plan, wall layout or 3D point coordinates that can be downloaded to a PC via the USB interface. Shorten the workflow, save money and avoid mistakes because it’s completely digitalised. Writing errors are a thing of the past. (shown with optional tripod adapter FTA360-S)
	Real-time transfer of point data: Transfer measurement data directly on site over the WLAN interface to a portable computer for further processing in your preferred software. Create documentations or check a lay-out in real-time and transmit as many measurement points as you like, with or without pictures.
	300 m range with X-Range Power Technology: With the innovative X-Range Power Technology on board the Leica DISTO S910 represents the measuring technology of the future. It achieves ranges of up to 300 m and guarantees the best measuring performance even to poorly reflecting objects
	Smart Angle Function: Measure any angle by just measuring three points. No matter how the angle is positioned, by just measuring the points the angle will be calculated and displayed.
	Smart area measurement: Determine the area and the perimeter of horizontal, vertical and even inclined areas from one point. This is done by positioning the folded out Smart Base on a stable surface and targeting the corner points of the area to be measured, in either a clockwise or anticlockwise direction. Using this method, you can quickly and easily measure complex floor, wall and ceiling or inclined roof areas.

The S910 is the first LDM that captures multiple, accurate measurements in three dimensions from a single location, radically improving the efficiency of common measuring tasks.
Smart Base -- a biaxial pivot integrated with the circuit board -- is the key hardware innovation. Combined with a more powerful laser, a 360° tilt sensor, and new software --SmartBase enables the S910 to measure the distances and angles between multiple points.
SmartBase facilitates three new remote measurement functions:
Point to Point (P2P): Measure the tie distance between two points, even if you are hundreds of feet from your target. Shoot Point 1 then Point 2 and the S910 displays the distance between them. Widths, heights, diagonals, gaps, it doesn't matter: Just measure the start and end point and the distance is displayed.
Smart Area: Shoot the corners of any polygon to determine the area of walls, floors, even complex roof shapes. 
Smart Angle: Shoot three points to measure any angle (including outside angles, which is a first).

In the vast majority of cases you will want a tripod to use these functions. In addition to an S910, the Pro Pack includes a TRI20 Tripod and a FTA 360-S adapter.

Even with a tripod and outdoor pointfinder camera, placing your laser point exactly where you want it can be challenging, especially at longer distances. The FTA 360-S is a micro-adjustable tripod adaptor. Point and shoot to get close, then tweak the knobs ever so slightly to adjust your spot by millimeters.
